Debayan Mukherjee

Debayan Mukherjee is an experienced design leader at Samsung Electronics, currently serving as Director, Principal, and Head of Design since June 2009. Mukherjee leads a UX design team of approximately 80 designers, focusing on innovative technology and next-generation user experiences. Previous roles at Samsung include Director and Principal Designer for Visual Experience and General Manager for UX Design, emphasizing end-to-end innovation and user-centric design in camera and mobile UX projects. Alongside positions at IMImobile and Intel Technologies, Mukherjee has a strong foundation in product design with a postgraduate diploma from the National Institute of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
