Huichul Yang

Huichul Yang (Ph.D.) is a seasoned UX designer with extensive experience at Samsung Electronics, where roles included Senior UX Designer and subsequently Head of Experience Planning Group, Corporate VP, and Head of UX. Significant contributions were made from 2007 to 2013, leading UX teams for SLP, Tizen, and TouchWiz UX. Prior experience includes a senior UX designer position at Samsung Corporate Design Center from 2007 to 2009. Huichul Yang holds a Ph.D. in Human Factors and Ergonomics, an MS in the same field, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology. Additional academic credentials include completion of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2024 and a visiting scholar position at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
