Sebastian Seung

Sebastian Seung is a distinguished professor at Princeton University, serving in both the Princeton Neuroscience Institute and the Computer Science Department since January 2014. Concurrently, Sebastian holds the position of President and Head of Samsung Research, overseeing 14 R&D Centers and 7 AI Centers globally since June 2018. Previously, Sebastian was a Professor of Computational Neuroscience at MIT from 1998 to 2014, and a Member of the Technical Staff in the Theoretical Physics Department at Bell Labs from 1992 to 1998.
