Seungyeob Ryou

SeungYeob Ryou serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Samsung Engineering since December 2012, overseeing legal matters as general counsel. Prior to this role, Ryou was Vice President and Attorney at Law for Samsung SDI, leading the Korean legal group and managing compliance from July 2006 to December 2012. Ryou has also held the position of Vice President and Attorney at Law at Samsung, advising on significant legal issues from July 2004 to June 2006. Earlier in the career, Ryou worked as a Public Prosecutor at the Seoul Central Prosecutor's Office, focusing on criminal investigations from March 1996 to June 2004. Ryou's educational background includes a degree from Korea University, training at the Judicial Research & Training Institute, and further legal studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
