Kyusung Park

Kyusung Park serves as the Executive Vice President at Samsung SDI, focusing on solid-state battery development since September 2021, after holding the title of Vice President with a similar focus. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Staff Scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory from March 2019 to June 2021 and as a Research Scientist at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2011 to March 2019. Additional roles include R&D Staff Member at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology and Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin. Kyusung Park holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science, as well as a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree, all from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, with educational credentials acquired between 1994 and 2004.
