Cecile S. Chung, EMBA, LL.B has extensive work experience in the legal field. Cecile S. started their career as an Associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in 2000. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a Legal Counsel at Mosaic Group Inc. In 2003, they joined Astral Television Networks as the Director of Business and Legal Affairs. Cecile S. then moved on to Carillion Canada Inc. in 2006, where they held various positions including Corporate Counsel and eventually became the General Counsel and Senior Vice President, Legal. During their time at Carillion Canada Inc., Cecile led a team of lawyers and provided advice for multi-billion-dollar public-private partnership projects. Cecile S. also completed numerous acquisitions and divestitures, successfully defended major environmental and health and safety prosecutions, and implemented important policies and procedures related to commercial risk, anti-bribery controls, and whistleblowing. In 2014, Cecile joined Samuel, Son & Co. as the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary.
