Brady Hanshaw is currently a Summer Research Fellow at the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on psychiatry and health at Fenway Health. Hanshaw also holds a Research Fellow position in the Gender Psychiatry Program at the University of California, San Francisco, alongside serving as Sexuality and Gender Chair and President of LGBTQ and Allies at Harvard Medical School. As a 2023 Samvid Scholar, Hanshaw's research interests include technology-based studies on sexual and gender minority health during earlier roles at the UNC Institute for Global Health & Infectious Diseases. With notable experience as the Chief Operating Officer of Railcare Health and participation in various leadership programs, Hanshaw has a strong background in public health and LGBTQ+ advocacy, holding degrees from Harvard and a dual Bachelor's degree from UNC and Duke.
