Vicky Asencio

Vicky Asencio has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, holding various leadership positions throughout their career. Vicky started their career as an Accountant II at Valley Health System in 1996. Vicky then joined Loma Linda University Medical Center in 1999, where they served as the Director of Revenue Enhancement, Director of Process Flow Improvement, and Director of Performance Management. During their time at Loma Linda, they were responsible for managing contractual agreements, improving patient and process flow, and implementing data collection tools. In 2007, Vicky moved to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, where they took on the role of Director of Business Services. In this role, they led the revenue cycle team and implemented processes to improve revenue accuracy and reduce denials. Most recently, Vicky joined San Antonio Regional Hospital in 2018 as the Director of Patient Financial Services.

Vicky Asencio received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, specializing in Business Administration and Management from 1990 to 1995. Vicky later pursued a Master's degree in Management at the University of Redlands, completing it in the year 2000.
