Brandon James

Brandon enters his tenth season in the Spurs front office as in-house counsel for basketball operations. In addition to his role as team attorney, Brandon is responsible for overseeing the business strategy for Spurs Sports & Entertainment including new growth initiatives, corporate affairs and development, and organizational process, innovation, and strategic initiatives.

He also advises Spurs Sports & Entertainment franchises including SAFC and the Austin Spurs.

Before joining the Silver and Black Brandon spent four years with IMG Sports, Entertainment, and Media serving several positions in the Talent Marketing Division.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Brandon earned his JD and MBA simultaneously from the University of Georgia. He’s also served as an adjunct professor at Trinity University and guest lecturer at the University of Texas and Texas A&M.
