Lori Warren

Chief Finance & Strategy Officer at San Antonio Spurs

Lori is entering her 28th year with the Spurs Sports & Entertainment. She recently took on the role of executive vice president of corporate finance and strategy in July 2019. In her current role she oversees financial operations and reporting, corporate business development and business analytic insights. Lori led the $110 million project to renovate the AT&T Center in 2014-15 and was heavily involved in all financial aspects of the AT&T Center development project and opening in 2002.

Prior to being elevated to executive vice president, Lori served as senior vice president of corporate finance and brand strategy where she was responsible for strategic development of brand engagement for all franchises under the SS&E umbrella. She was named vice president of finance in the summer of 2000 and was promoted to senior vice president corporate finance in 2008. She began with SS&E in 1993 and spent seven seasons as the team’s controller.

Before joining the Spurs, Lori worked in the audit department for KPMG Peat Marwick in Dallas and San Antonio.

A graduate of Texas A&M, Lori is a certified public accountant with a degree in accounting. She played one season of varsity tennis for the Aggies. Lori was selected as a member of the 2007–08 Leadership San Antonio Class 33. She is a 2007 recipient of the San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award. In 2011, Lori was named as one of San Antonio’s Best CFOs by the San Antonio Business Journal, and in 2015 she was named a SportsBusiness Journal Game Changer.

Lori currently serves on San Antonio Economic Development Foundation Marketing Committee and is also a former member of the Board of Trustees of the United Way of Bexar County.

An active volunteer with her children’s school and sports activities, Lori and her husband, Garren, have two sons, Chandler and Trevor.
