Jennifer Frentress serves as the Superintendent of the San Carlos School District since July 2021, previously holding the position of Associate Superintendent at the San Mateo County Office of Education from March 2019 to August 2021. An experienced leader in education, Jennifer has also worked as a Project Manager/Strategist for TimeWise Schools, LLC, and as an Executive Strategist/Coach at School by Design, driving school redesign and resource management initiatives. In earlier roles, Jennifer was the Principal at Tyler Elementary School, where significant improvements in literacy were achieved. Jennifer's career includes positions at Forest Grove School District, Franklin High School, and the Northwest Regional Education Service District, contributing to curriculum development and professional development efforts. Jennifer Frentress holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, alongside several other educational degrees and certifications.
