Melissa Culbertson

Melissa Culbertson is an experienced librarian currently serving at the San Diego Air & Space Museum since April 2019. Prior to this role, Melissa worked at the University of California San Diego from January 2017 to April 2019 as a Reserves & Circulation Workleader, collaborating with instructors to provide high-demand materials for students and managing reserves collections. Earlier professional experience includes a position at Wells Fargo where Melissa worked as an Operations Accounting Clerk from February 2012 to January 2017, handling account reconciliations and transactions, and as a Lead Teller, mentoring a team in customer service. Melissa holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Wayne State University and has completed bachelor's degrees at the University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University, with one degree focused on Art History, Criticism, and Conservation.
