Kevin LaChapelle, EdD, MPA has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Kevin has held positions such as Founder and Advisory of the non-profit organization PowerMentor, where they provided leadership development and mentoring to refugees and at-risk communities. Kevin also worked as the National Director of Service Quality, Patient Safety, Risk, and Experience at Kaiser Permanente, responsible for implementing improvements in patient experience and quality.

Kevin has also worked in the education field, serving as a Core Adjunct Professor at National University and a Professor of Doctoral Studies at Walden University. In these roles, they developed curriculum and mentored students in the areas of health and human services and organizational leadership.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated a passion for improving healthcare and organizational culture. Kevin has implemented effective change management strategies and created training programs to enhance customer engagement and improve employee satisfaction.

Kevin LaChapelle, EdD, MPA has an extensive education history with a focus on leadership, public administration, business management, and performance improvement. Kevin obtained a Doctorate in Leadership from the University of Phoenix from 2009 to 2014, followed by a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the same university in 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they completed a Business Management program with a minor in Organizational Behavior from the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2008.

In terms of certifications, they received a Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBBP) Certification from the Management & Strategy Institute in 2016 and a Prosci Change Management Certification in the same year. Kevin also completed Lean Six Sigma Process & Change Management training from Sharp HealthCare in 2013 and Performance Excellence Lean Six Sigma Training in 2010-2011.

Kevin LaChapelle acquired a Certificate in Customer Experience Design from the ThinkAbout (Joe Pine & James Gilmore) Experience Economy program in 2014, and a Certificate in Scripps Leadership Academy from Scripps Health in 2009-2010. Kevin also has certifications in various emergency management areas, including Emergency Program Manager, Active Shooter Training, and Emergency Support Function Search & Rescue from FEMA in 2011. In 2002, they received an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT - Basic) certification from the Health Occupation Center.

Furthermore, they hold a Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Uni-Prep Institute. In the medical field, they achieved Subject Matter Expert status in Patient-Centered Care from Planetree between 2013 and 2017. Lastly, they obtained a Certificate in Quality Professionals Fellowship from the Kaiser Permanente Performance Improvement Institute in 2019.
