Janet Skogan Roemer

Janet Skogan Roemer is an accomplished finance and operations professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as VP Finance and Board Member for the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists Foundation since July 2024, Janet actively supports the advancement of science and technology through financial awards for Ph.D. candidates. Janet has been the Director and a member of the Executive Committee at the San Diego Blood Bank since March 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing blood processing and related services. Previous roles include Independent Director at Trecora Resources, Chief Operating Officer at Verenium Corporation, and multiple senior positions at BP, where Janet managed significant business units and strategic initiatives. Educationally, Janet holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in Chemistry from Miami University.
