San Diego Center for Children
Chelsea Prout, LCSW, has an extensive background in social work, currently serving as a Wrap Fidelity Specialist and previously as an Intensive Care Coordinator II at the San Diego Center for Children since November 2013. Prior experience includes roles as a Foster Youth Services Educational Liaison with the County Office of Education from November 2008 to October 2013, a School Social Worker at Eastside Union High School District in 2007-2008, and a position in Program Unit at Elmwood Jail from 2006 to 2007. Chelsea earned a Master's degree in Social Work from San Jose State University between 2006 and 2008 and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Founded in 1887, the San Diego Center for Children is the oldest children's 501(c)(3) nonprofit in San Diego. The Center provides evidence-based therapeutic, educational, foster care and transition services to children and families struggling with mental, emotional and behavioral disorders.
