Darren Walters, M.S., CRC, currently serves as the DSPS Coordinator/Counselor at San Diego City College, overseeing the operations of the disability support department and ensuring compliance with educational accessibility regulations. With a background in academic and personal counseling for students with disabilities, Darren has held multiple roles including Acting DSPS Coordinator, Assistant Professor for the Rehabilitation Counseling Program at San Diego State University, and Adjunct Counselor positions. Prior to their academic career, Darren managed operations in the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included personnel management and training. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and multiple associate and bachelor's degrees in business administration and military sciences.
