Ted Lasalvia

Ted LaSalvia has over 20 years of experience in finance and audit roles. Ted is currently the Finance Director at San Diego City Employees' Retirement System, where they have been working since 2013. Prior to this, Ted worked as the Financial Controller at the same company. Ted also served as the Treasurer and Experienced Internal Audit Director at the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) - San Diego Chapter from 2011 to 2014. Ted has held positions as the Audit Director, Consulting at Swenson Advisors, LLP and the Director of Internal Audit at Gen-Probe Incorporated. Ted has also worked as the Vice President of Internal Audit at both DJO and DJ Orthopedics, where they were responsible for creating and leading the global Internal Audit function. Earlier in their career, Ted worked as a Senior Audit Manager at Swenson Advisors LLP.

Ted LaSalvia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from San Diego State University. Ted also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. In addition to their degrees, they are a Certified Public Accountant registered with the State of California.
