Jack Beresford

Jack Beresford, MBA, is the Director of Communications and Public Relations for the San Diego Community College District, overseeing communications for California's second-largest district serving approximately 100,000 students. With previous experience as Chief Communications Officer at San Diego State University, Beresford enhanced the university's brand as a leading public research institution. Prior to that role, work included serving as Director of Public Affairs at The Gable Group, where award-winning programs were developed for various clients, and as Senior Account Executive at Stoorza, Ziegaus & Metzger, managing public affairs accounts. Beresford holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Leadership from National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Political Science from UC San Diego.
