Kelly Parks has extensive work experience in software engineering and web development.
Starting in 2008, Kelly worked as a Senior Application Developer for Dataskill, where they built a disconnected windows application for AC technicians. They also worked on various contracts with Airsis, assisting with .NET windows applications and web-based platforms.
In 2010, Kelly joined Bike Bandit as a Senior Web Developer, working on their main website which utilized .NET and classic ASP technologies. They later moved on to CSC, where they added features and resolved bugs on the Navy's personnel management website, using technologies such as classic ASP, ASP.NET MVC, Ajax, jQuery, and SQL Server.
From 2011 to 2013, Kelly worked at Thomson Reuters as a Senior Application Developer, focusing on bug fixes and feature enhancements for the MONAHRQ application. They utilized Visual C#, SQL, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
From 2013 to 2017, Kelly worked as a Senior .NET Web Developer for Solar Turbines and a Senior .NET Developer for BeneTrac. At Solar Turbines, they built a dashboard web application using C#.NET, web forms, HTML5, and jQuery. At BeneTrac, they worked on an online tool for employee benefits enrollment, utilizing technologies such as classic ASP, VB6 DLLs and executables, and C# assemblies.
From 2017 to 2020, Kelly worked at Perspecta as a Senior App, where they acted as a project manager and applications specialist. They performed troubleshooting, bug fixes, and administration tasks for 23 different applications used by the County of San Diego. Technologies used included C#, VBScript, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, SQL, and VB6.
Most recently, in 2020, Kelly joined eSUB Construction Software as a Senior Web Developer through a six-month contract. They worked on a web/phone/kiosk/application-based software platform for subcontractors in the construction industry, utilizing ASP.
In December 2020, Kelly joined San Diego County Credit Union as a Senior Software Engineer.
Kelly Parks attended Arizona Western College from 1979 to 1981, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Physics. Following this, from 1981 to 1987, Kelly pursued Engineering Physics at the University of Arizona. In 2002, Kelly obtained the MCSD certification from Microsoft.
