Terrence Loftus is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in education and business management. Currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent and Chief Information Officer at the San Diego County Office of Education since October 2018, Terrence is responsible for managing enterprise-wide technology needs and ensuring alignment with educational strategies. Prior roles include Chief Technology Officer for Oceanside Unified School District, where Terrence oversaw IT operations for a large school district, and Administrative Director of Facilities and Information Technology Services at Brea Olinda Unified School District. Earlier career highlights include founding Salient Interactive Communications, serving as General Manager at Staples, and holding various management positions in retail and operations. Terrence holds advanced degrees in Information Security and Management Information Systems from Lewis University and California State University San Marcos, as well as a certification in School Business Management from USC Rossier School of Education.
