Matt Rankin

Matt Rankin is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Senior Departmental HR Officer at the San Diego County Sheriff's Department since March 2023. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Director of Human Resources at the City of Santee from April 2022 to March 2023. Matt's extensive background includes serving as Senior Departmental Human Resources Officer and Departmental Human Resources Officer at the San Diego County Sheriff between May 2014 and April 2022, as well as working as a Human Resources Specialist and Human Resources Assistant for the County of San Diego from March 2008 to May 2014.
