James Hebert

James Hebert is a Commissioner and former chair at the Encinitas Commission for the Arts. James currently serves as a Content Manager at the San Diego Tourism Authority, where James oversees the delivery of messaging and manages B2B and consumer-focused content. James was also the Founding Editor at Knowhere, a VC-funded startup, and previously worked as a Senior writer-critic and cultural correspondent at The San Diego Union-Tribune. James holds a M.S. degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a B.A. in Communications/Psychology with an English minor from San Diego State University.
