Andre Matsevilo

Andre Matsevilo is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring across various organizations. Currently serving as a Domain Engineer II in Cybersecurity at San Diego Gas & Electric since June 2023, Andre previously worked as a Cyber Defense Incident Responder at Insight Global, focusing on active threat hunting and incident management. Andre started as a Security Operations Center Analyst at Hurricane Labs, where responsibility included cybersecurity threat detection for multiple high-profile clients. Prior experience includes a role as a Security/Systems Engineer at Ntrepid and a Field Service Engineer at Apex Systems. Andre's foundational skills were developed during military service as a Weapons and Explosives Specialist with the United States Naval Special Warfare Command. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, both from National University.
