Bernadette Butkiewicz

Bernadette Butkiewicz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public affairs and political organizing. Currently serving as a Sr. Public Affairs Manager at San Diego Gas & Electric since March 2021, Bernadette supports the implementation of the City of San Diego's Climate Action Plan and greenhouse gas reduction efforts, notably facilitating the planting of over 550 trees in 2022. Previous roles include Public Affairs Manager at SDG&E and Political Organizer with the United Association, where Bernadette successfully enhanced recruitment and retention of women in the plumbing and pipefitting industries.
