Brittany Applestein Syz

Brittany Applestein Syz serves as the Director of Regional Public Affairs at San Diego Gas & Electric since February 2015, leading strategic engagement with local government agencies and elected officials across 27 cities and 2 counties. Previously, Brittany held various director roles in Environmental Services and Sustainability, as well as Clean Transportation, focusing on emission reduction strategies and electric vehicle adoption. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Counsel at SDG&E, managing real estate legal matters, and holding executive positions at Oberon Fuels and Solomon Minton Cardinal, where Brittany specialized in business development and real estate transactions. Brittany's professional qualifications are supported by a JD from the University of California, College of the Law, an MA from The London School of Economics, and an AB from Harvard University.
