Danielle McAvenia

Danielle McAvenia currently serves as a Senior Facility Environmental Specialist at San Diego Gas & Electric since October 2023. Prior to this role, McAvenia was a Compliance Specialist at Western Pump from March 2023 to October 2023 and held the position of Quality Manager at APTIM for a brief period in early 2023. McAvenia has extensive experience in environmental management, having worked as Assistant Manager and Environmental Compliance Specialist at Belshire Environmental Services from June 2017 to December 2022. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Science Intern at Yukon River Inter-Tribal Watershed Council and as a Corporate Member Development Intern at Sustainable Brands. McAvenia's career began at Jamba Juice as a Shift Manager from March 2012 to September 2014. Academically, McAvenia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from California State University - East Bay and completed studies at Southwestern Community College District in the same field.
