John Genske

John Genske currently serves as an Electric GIS Technician II at San Diego Gas & Electric since December 2021. Previously, John worked as an Electric GIS Technician and as a Digitization Intern at ZWORLD GIS, where responsibilities included digitizing building footprints and classifying tax parcels for emergency management. Prior experience also includes a Development Intern position at Loop Media, Inc., where market research and lead generation were key tasks. John holds a degree in Geography with a focus on Geographic Information Science and Cartography from UC Santa Barbara and completed secondary education at Polytechnic School from 2013 to 2017.
