Kazeem Omidiji

Kazeem Omidiji currently serves as the Director of Community Relations at San Diego Gas & Electric, a position held since October 2021. Previously, Kazeem worked as a Manager in Major Projects Advisory at KPMG US from January 2020 to October 2021 and as a Senior Manager of Energy Storage at GCL New Energy, Inc. from September 2018 to December 2019, where significant achievements included managing GCL's first Utility Energy Storage Contract. Kazeem's extensive experience at San Diego Gas & Electric spans multiple roles, including Regulatory Case Manager and Climate Action Plan Manager, where responsibilities included managing key regulatory filings and creating clean energy solutions for cities in the service territory. Beginning a career in energy and engineering, Kazeem holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, earned between 2005 and 2012.
