Nathan J. Bruner has extensive experience in project management and civil engineering, currently serving as the Planning and Project Management Manager at San Diego Gas & Electric since June 2010. In this role, Nathan has also held positions including Project Management, Project Controls Lead, Clean Transportation Business Development Manager, Supervisor of Residential Energy Efficiency Programs, and Senior Program Manager, focusing on residential whole house energy efficiency initiatives. Prior to this, Nathan worked for the City of San Diego for nearly two decades, managing the $60 million Utilities Undergrounding Program as an Associate Civil Engineer and later coordinating materials testing as Assistant Civil Engineer. Nathan's career began with the U.S. Navy as a Civil Engineering Aide in the Seabees from July 1984 to July 1990. Nathan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Economics from the University of San Diego, graduating cum laude.
