Scott B. Crider is currently the SVP of External and Operations Support at San Diego Gas & Electric. Prior to this position, Crider served as the Director of Issues Management and Environmental Communications at Sempra Energy from October 2008 to June 2010. Before their time at Sempra Energy, Crider was the Public Affairs Manager for SDG&E's 120-mile, $2 billion Sunrise Powerlink electric transmission line project from January 2002 to October 2008. After their time at SDG&E, Crider served as the Director of External Affairs at Sempra U.S. Gas & Power from July 2010 to September 2012. Prior to their work in the private sector, Crider served as the Chief of Policy for Council Member Brian Maienschein from January 2001 to December 2002 and as District Director for California Assembly Member Charlene Zettel from January 1999 to December 2001. Crider began their political career as the Campaign Manager for Charlene Zettel for Assembly from January 1998 to December 1998.
