Roy Sommer

Roy Sommer is an accomplished ice hockey coach with extensive experience in professional hockey. As the Head Coach of the San Diego Gulls since July 2022, Roy has been instrumental in the team's development and performance. Prior to this role, Roy served as the Head Coach of the San Jose Sharks' AHL affiliate, the Barracuda, from August 1996 to August 2022, where Roy established a strong foundation and demonstrated a long-term commitment to coaching excellence.
