Nina Thompson has a diverse range of work experience in the field of news production and communications. Nina started their career as an Assistant Budget Editor at City News Service of Los Angeles Inc. in 2001. Nina then worked as a News Producer at KGPE-TV News 47 Fresno, where they produced nightly newscasts and morning shows. In 2003, they joined KUSI-TV as a News Producer, launching and producing the nightly news. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a News Producer at DNN Real Estate News, producing daily real estate newscasts for the internet and syndicated news inserts for national television. Nina then moved on to roles as a News Producer at Aftonbladet TV7, where they oversaw the development of network newscasts, and TV4, where they produced morning news in Sweden. In 2008, they worked as a Producer/Writer at NBCUniversal, Inc. in San Diego. From 2009 to 2010, they were a News Producer at Bay City Television. Nina then transitioned to NBCUniversal Media, LLC, where they worked as a News Producer for NBC 7 and played a key role in producing the network's highest-rated news program. Most recently, they have been working at the San Diego Humane Society, first as a Communications Manager and currently as the Director of Public Relations.
Nina Thompson completed their education at the University of Southern California from 1997 to 2001. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Communications.
