Magdalena Murguia

Magdalena Murguia is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in the arts and media sectors. Currently serving as a Museum Attendant at The San Diego Museum of Art since June 2017, Magdalena also operates as a Freelance Artist under Magdalenastudio, focusing on painting, fabric design, jewelry, and t-shirt lines. Prior experience includes working as an Art Docent at Carlton Hills Elementary, where art was integrated into the 8th-grade curriculum, and roles as a Weather Producer at KFMB and Broadcast Designer at KUSI News, where graphics and visual content were created for broadcast segments. Magdalena holds an Associate of Science degree in multimedia from Platt College and completed education at Santana High School.
