Marianela de la Hoz

Marianela de la Hoz is a trustee at the San Diego Museum of Art. Marianela was previously the head of collections and exhibitions at The Henry Moore Foundation from April 1996 to May 2014. From September 2014 to November 2016, they were a member of the board of trustees at the Balboa Art Conservation Center. From March 1992 to March 1996, they were an exhibitions organizer at Momart, Art Transport, London. From September 1989 to November 1991, they were the gallery manager at Butterfield & Butterfield Auctioneers and Appraisers. From June 1988 to October 1988, they were the assistant editor of Contemporary Art at Art and Design Magazine. From September 1984 to October 1987, they were the exhibitions registrar at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

De la Hoz has a Master's degree in Theirtory of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art at University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Theirtory, Criticism and Conservation from University of California, Los Angeles.
