Gloria Alonzo

Gloria Alonzo is a community health professional with extensive experience in program coordination and community engagement. Currently serving as the Community Engagement Program Supervisor at Christie's Place since May 2023, Gloria also holds a position as Special Events Staff at the San Diego Natural History Museum. Prior roles include Health Educator II at UC San Diego Health, focusing on outreach for the Mother, Child, and Adolescent HIV Program, and Program Coordinator at Vista Community Clinic. Gloria has experience as a Program & Resource Specialist at North County Health Services, where responsibilities included enrollment counseling for Covered CA, Medi-Cal, and CalFresh. Previous positions also include Program Manager at Indian Health Council, Inc., managing the Pill Take Back Project, and various roles at California State University, Fullerton, including Research Assistant and Violence Prevention Peer Educator. Gloria earned a Bachelor's of Science in Health Science from California State University, Fullerton, in 2017 and a high school diploma from San Pasqual High School in 2013.
