Erica Southworth Halpern

Erica Southworth Halpern currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of San Diego Social Venture Partners since February 2020. In addition, Erica has been a member of the Board of Trustees for Del Mar Union School District since March 2015, holding positions as President and Clerk. Prior experience includes various roles at Goldman Sachs from July 2001 to December 2008, including Chief Operating Officer of Investment Banking Services - Americas and Vice President within the Investment Banking Division. Erica also served as Director of Public Affairs at Presidio Trust and held positions at GCA Strategies and Partners in School Innovation. Erica earned a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
