The purpose of San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center is, and has always been, to consistently, expertly, and compassionately provide optimal medical care to families, athletes of all levels, and professionals to allow them to live healthy, happy, and purposeful lives. SDSM started in 1980 by Dr. E. Lee Rice, DO, with a vision to not only give excellent quality medical care, but also allow our patients to achieve optimum health and fitness. Health is much more than just absence of disease. Our goals are to treat diseases and manage injuries, as well as educate our patients on how to realize their true potential. We have a wide variety of services, as well as board-certified, award-winning physicians to accomplish these goals.
