Lisa Contois

Lisa Contois is a skilled Certified Athletic Trainer with extensive experience in sports medicine and athletic training. Currently, Contois works at San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center, a position held since April 2021. Prior to this, Contois served as a Certified Athletic Trainer at San Diego State University from August 2013 to June 2021 and as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at California State University, Long Beach from August 2011 to May 2013. Additional experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at Boston University, where Contois taught the Examination and Diagnosis of Orthopedic Injuries, and various positions in customer service and peer counseling during earlier educational endeavors. Contois holds a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Boston University.

SDSM started in 1980 by Dr. E. Lee Rice, DO, with a vision to not only give excellent quality medical care, but also allow our patients to achieve optimum health and fitness. Health is much more than just absence of disease. Our goals are to treat diseases and manage injuries, as well as educate our patients on how to realize their true potential. We have a wide variety of services, as well as board-certified, award-winning physicians to accomplish these goals.
