Ramzy Awad

Ramzy Awad currently serves as a Mentor at San Diego Squared since September 2023. Previously, Ramzy worked at Takeda from May 2021 to September 2023, initially as a Bioconjugation Research Associate, focusing on the chemical and enzymatic conjugation of biomolecules and the preparation of oligonucleotide conjugates for targeted drug delivery research. Ramzy also held the position of Analytical / Purification Chemist, where responsibilities included purifying small molecule products for gastrointestinal drug research using advanced chromatography techniques. Ramzy's early career experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Researcher at the SDSU Protein Structure Laboratory and as a Chemistry Lab Aide at the SDSU Chemistry Stockroom. Ramzy Awad holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from San Diego State University, awarded in 2020.
