Gastón Akerman

Gastón Akerman, M.S., currently serves as the Assistant Director of Security Operations at San Diego State University, where responsibilities include managing safety and security programs for over 8,000 residents across 25 buildings. Previous roles at San Diego State University include supervising and training student safety personnel and advising on budget management. Experience in security training and analysis was gained as a Training Analyst and Instructor at Prosegur, where Gastón coordinated training for new security officers and developed plans for key clients.
