Juliana Hwang is a dedicated graduate assistant at San Diego State University, assisting in the grading and evaluation of CSP663 coursework and providing feedback to students. As the historian for the SDSU School Psychology Student Association, Juliana documents cohort accomplishments and creates newsletters. Juliana also works as a respite caregiver, supporting children and young adults with special needs. Membership in Psi Chi reflects Juliana's academic excellence. Prior experience includes a behavior technician role at Behavior Frontiers, where Juliana implemented behavior treatment strategies for clients with autism, and multiple assistant roles at Pitzer College, including teacher assistant and resident assistant. Juliana has engaged in advocacy for survivors of sexual assault and participated in various research projects related to global mental health and student well-being. Juliana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Pitzer College and is pursuing an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology at San Diego State University.
