Lori Sokolowski

Lori Sokolowski is an experienced educator specializing in photography and media arts. Currently serving as a Photography Teacher and MSAP Resource Teacher for the San Diego Unified School District since August 2022, Lori also holds the title of Central Office Resource Teacher for the Magnet Schools Assistance Program. In addition to this role, Lori instructs instruments and coaches bands at the Rock n' Roll Camp for Girls San Diego until August 2025. Previous experience includes roles at San Marcos Unified School District and Grossmont Union High School District as a Digital Photography Teacher, as well as a variety of positions at the Museum of Photographic Arts. Lori has a BFA in Photography from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, a Master of Arts in Teaching from San Diego State University, and an Advanced Certificate in Instructional Design from the same institution.
