Jason Gumbiner

Jason Gumbiner has over two decades of experience in the engineering and wastewater treatment sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Technician at the San Diego County Water Authority since April 2019, Jason has previously held roles as a wastewater treatment plant operator at the Encina Wastewater Authority and a Grade 3 Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator for the City of San Diego. Prior to this, Jason worked as a Pipefitter/Leadman at Archer Western Contractors Ltd. and as a Welder/Mechanic at Amee Bay LLC. Jason's career began in the United States Navy as a Hull Maintenance Technician and work center supervisor. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from National University and ongoing studies at California State University-Sacramento. Jason graduated from Ponderosa High School with a diploma in General Studies.
