Meena Westford

Meena Westford is a highly experienced professional in water policy and management, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the San Diego County Water Authority. With a background as an Executive Policy Advisor for Colorado River Programs and previous roles as Special Projects Manager at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, Meena has also held senior positions at the San Diego County Water Authority as Public Affairs Senior Manager and Water Policy Manager. Additional experience includes working as an Area Planning Officer for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and membership in the Governor's AB2717 Landscape Taskforce. Meena holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Denver and has pursued continuing education in Spanish at the University of California, San Diego.
