Mike Hausberg

Mike Hausberg is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in philanthropy, marketing, and copyediting. Currently serving as the Philanthropy Senior Editor at the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance since September 2024, Hausberg previously held significant roles at The Old Globe, including Associate Director of Marketing, Communications, where leadership of high-performing teams and the execution of comprehensive content strategies were key responsibilities. Hausberg's prior roles also include Communications Manager and Public Relations Associate at The Old Globe, as well as freelance copyediting for various organizations such as the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles and the NTC Foundation. Hausberg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from UC San Diego and a Professional Certificate in Copyediting from UC San Diego Extended Studies.
