Jeannie Chufo started their work experience in 2001 as an English teacher at La Costa Canyon High School. Jeannie taught high school English courses, including Honors & College Preparatory 9th and A.P. & College Preparatory 12th. Jeannie Chufo pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Psychology at UC San Diego from 1989 to 1994. During this time, they focused on various fields of study, including concept formation in infancy, developmental issues, gender bias in education, and American literature. Later, from 2000 to 2001, they attended National University where they earned their Master of Education degree in Cross-cultural Teaching and obtained a Single Subject Teaching Credential.
