Megan Hempsey

Substitute Teacher at SAN DIEGUITO UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT

Megan Hempsey has had a diverse range of work experience. Megan started their career as a Substitute Teacher at the San Dieguito Union High School District in November 2018. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Coach for Varsity Field Hockey and Track and Field at La Jolla Country Day School starting in August 2017. In 2020, they served as a College Ministry Intern at Megan'sHouse Christian Fellowship Wisconsin from August to December. From July 2015 to August 2020, they were a Masters Swim Coach at Lawrence Family JCC. Additionally, they worked as a Ministry Coordinator and Office Manager at First Baptist Church of San Diego from November 2018 to September 2019. In February 2018, they worked as a Middle School Mathematics and Technology Teacher at BECA (Bilingual Education for Central America) for a few months. Megan also has experience as an Office Manager, Mathematics Tutor, and Resident Assistant at Ripon College from January 2015 to May 2017.

Megan Hempsey pursued their education at Ripon College from 2014 to 2017. During their time there, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Religion, Sociology, with a Minor in Mathematics. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their academic journey at Luther Rice College & Seminary from 2020 to 2024. Here, they are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Christian Ministry.
