Andres Avelar has extensive experience in system administration and data protection, currently serving as a Senior System Administrator for the San Francisco 49ers since July 2018, focusing on Endpoint management for players and coaching playbooks, migrating VM environments to Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, and designing storage solutions for media production workflows. Prior to this role, Andres worked at Adobe Systems Inc. from 2000 to April 2018, where responsibilities included Enterprise Data Protection and Storage Engineering, encompassing backup and recovery infrastructure architecture, disaster recovery, storage solutions (including iSCSI, NAS, and SAN), and big data management with technologies such as Cloudera and Hadoop, as well as IT compliance and information security.
