Connor Brown

Connor Brown is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in harm reduction and public health, currently serving as the DOPE Project Coordinator and Health Educator at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation since October 2016. In this role, Connor provides direct service to people who use substances, focusing on safer injection practices, overdose prevention, and education on HCV/HIV transmission risk factors. Prior experience includes work as an Associate Scientist I at Corium International, where Connor developed and validated chromatographic methods, and multiple research assistant positions at San Francisco State University, contributing to organic synthesis and HIV-related studies. Connor also volunteered at San Francisco General Hospital, advocating for patients and supporting the trauma team. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology and History, with a minor in Chemistry from San Francisco State University.
