Robert Holum

Director, Clinical Internship Training Program, Stonewall Project at San Francisco AIDS Foundation

Robert Holum has a diverse work experience spanning from 1999 to 2018. Robert began their career as a Legal Document Services Coordinator at Morrison & Foerster LLP, where they worked until 2011. In 2004, Robert started their own practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families. Robert also conducted employer-mandated EAP substance abuse assessments. From 2006 to 2009, Robert worked as a Research Counselor at UCSF Alliance Health Project. In 2011, they joined Bayview Hunters Point Foundation as a Clinical Supervisor in the Integrated Behavioral Health Program until 2013. In the same year, Robert also started working at San Francisco AIDS Foundation as the Director of the Clinical Internship Training Program. Robert oversaw all aspects of the program and served on the senior management workgroup. Additionally, in 2018, Robert served as an Adjunct Faculty in Counseling Psychology at the University of San Francisco.

Robert Holum holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, History of Culture, and French, which they obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989. Robert later pursued further education and earned a Master of Arts degree in French Language and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1992 to 1994. Additionally, they completed a Master of Arts degree with a focus on Psychology (Social-Clinical Emphasis) from the New College of California between 1997 and 1999.
